I've seen maybe 2-3 obvious hackers in my 150+ hours of playing... however almost every night I play, somebody accuses me of hacking because my score is something like 40-15.

I'm not even a great player.... my overall K-D ratio is 1.1, but virtually every time I have a good round, somebody claims that I'm cheating.

The other day I was accused of aimbotting in vietnam, because I killed the same guy a few times in a row. I wasn't even using a gun... I was grenade-spamming.:p
 
yes there does 'seem' to be more hacking now or at least less 'kicking/banning' (by less i mean ZERO kick/banning) am i joining the wrong servers? can someone list me some 'good servers'? (on BC2 not vietnam)
i have had to switch my tactics from defensive to offensive, I find adv-ammo beats adv-armor, as armor now appears to be totally useless (weird as it was great the first time I unlocked it and started using it)

Don't talk ********. Public hack users most likely get banned the instant they join a server because its public. Anyone who uses those and joins a PB server is a complete idiot. Multihackers are a different matter entirely and almost always will never be picked up by PB.
 
Did 10 revives in my previous game and a crap load of healing, the attackers didn't stand a chance [they didn't get past the first stage of Rush] as i was darting all over the place throwing med packs and reviving my teammates.

Any clever player would have targeted me to make sure i didn't keep reviving and healing, proper good fun though.
 
had to laugh earlier when i had a game in vietnam cnt remember the map tho

respawned and saw a triangle at the horizon so i just shot a bullet a bing got points for a headshot :D

at the end of the round i saw in chat longest headshot: dr_volki 230m
lol gotta love the m16 and i bet the other player thought im a hacker :p
 
played on a server earlier where this one guy was cheating and one shotting everyone across the map the second they spawned, turned out it was his server and he was kicking anyone who complained !

we all ROFLed at the idea of someone paying actual money for their own server just so they could beat everyone by using a cheat !:D
 
I tend to just play with whatever's populated or with friends.

Cheers i wll add you i don't have any friends on bfbc2 as only got the game on pc after playing it on xbox 360 for ages.

I also don't have vietnam and not going to buy yet maybe in a sale later.

Just had a thoroughly dull game, everyone noobtubing. Took the wind right out of my sails and now I just cba. That's the first time that's happened to me.. normally I just accept it as part of the game, or find another server.. this time though.. meh.

And how many 'multihackers' have you seen about? My point is they are rare, most people who hack won't have the money to pay for a hack and will use said public hacks and get banned because they are retarded, cause for the most part its little kiddies with nothing better to do. I'm not disputing the fact there are hackers, i'm just saying most of the 'hackers' are banned for using public hacks. On the rare occasion you will find some aimbotter with an undetected hack, but very rarely in my experience.

My original point was i've seen people in this thread whine about hackers, guys with a 2:1 kd ratio, thats not hacking, thats being a decent player having a good round, people are too quick with the hackusations, because the come upon someone who is just a better player.

Evil used to get accused all the time when he was playing on his mates PC, now he's on his own and gets crappy fps on low settings and low res he doesn't :D
