Recommended PSU for a GTX 580?

I've currently have a Corsair TX 650W with a MSI 470, it's part of a build that I ordered from OCuk and it's working great at the moment, the thing is i'm just wondering if i wanted to upgrade to a 580 would I need a higher wattage PSU? Btw I see the system in OCuk version 2 that gives you the option for a 580 and still has the 650 watt psu i mentioned, is it the 12volt rail that matters? And suppose if i wanted SLI it would be a must to upgrade.

And stulid a 650Watt psu would handle it wouldnt it? I know it would be better to have a little room, but it would do the job?

Your psu will be fine for a single 580, I run two on my 750w psu without problems.

Full load on my system with one gpu running Furmak and prime I pull 500w from the mains. This was without the software mod.

Well it seemed to me that OP was just considering, not definately going crossfire with them. I thought he was getting one and wanting extra wattage - note why i was sarcastic about anuraj linking a 1000w powersupply.. I thought he was speccing that for a single 580.

OP - if your definately wanting to go xfire ignore what ive been saying

it'll be a few months yet until i think of upgrading, as i'm pretty happy with my current setup, as for SLI personally im not interested, single GPU for me atm.
