Catalyst 11.2

Already installed that prefect running after uninstalled 11.1a included removed some file in regedit folder to clean it out then reboot and installed the 11.2 and the version showed correctly as "11.2" in Catalyst software info - plus wee bits better in games than then previous version.
 
Just upgraded to these, had no time to bench yet though to find out the difference. Seeing as the differences are more for 6*** I think, I doubt they'll have much effect for my CF 5830s.

Will do a quick test tonight.
 
installing now. Will need to redo all my benchmarks again....ach well :D

Lets see if the profiles have been fixed. CCC keeps forgetting what order I've got my monitors in when switching from eyefinity back to standard. :(

Anyone else having problems with flickering displays with multiple displays?

I have my U2410 connected via displayport and my little samsung SyncMaster 710N connected via VGA through the top DVI port on my 5850 with a convertor. It seems to work fine on CCC 10.10 but in 11.2 (and 11.1) I get a flickering with the little screen.

Anyone else find this?
 
yeah i got it on the beta's with my 5850 as well. running two screens, windows will flicker and jump around the screen and video's are causing some weird screen corruption. that's a vga monitor and hdmi output, btw.

yep.

But i get around that because i connect the other 2 screens to the secondary card.
 
The fix for the multi display flickers + OC is to supposedly use a 2D profile with higher voltage / speeds. Make a profile in CCC but don't load it. Edit the XML file of the profile to bump the core/mem/voltage (found in appdata iirc) then load. It should fix it but I sometimes still have issues.
