Getting pretty cheap now, what do you guys reckon? Never gave Fallout 3 a fair crack but I do like the look of New Vegas. So many good games out at the mo but this one keeps catching my eye.

Great game I own it on pc, you can get a lot of hours of play out of it, I say its must buy try and get fallout 3 as well

I'm 10 hours in and still feel like I've just scratched the surface. Great game but make sure you've got some free time :D

I have non stop issues with this in terms of bugs, mainly to do with the character (player) model and the gun. Such as, you go into sneak mode, and you go to get your gun out and it doesn't show, have to stand up to get it to show. Then sometimes you will be aiming and your arms will just shoot up and look like your holding the gun above you head.

Mind you, I have not signed in on live for a week... Not sure if there has been a recent patch though.

Even with all the glitches, it's still an excellent game and well worth it if you can pick up a used copy.

I had that one last night. :D

Had a few others too, I saw this thing in the distance flailing about a little bit like Robobrain arms and didn't recognise it, so I went for a closer look and upon inspection it was a pack of Legion Mongrels, vertical, clipping through the ground but somehow walking forwards. The "flailing" was their 4 legs moving as if they were walking flat on the ground except they were straight up vertical. :D

Fallout 3 was the worst for me though, that shop in the bottom left corner of the map which sold a lot of custom parts, Lucky's, because it was so close to the border of the game world there was nowhere for enemies to spawn so they would always spawn either outside the shop or in it. I remember this one time I was looking at the owner of the shop over the counter, then suddenly he started shooting, I turned round and there was a Giant Radscorpion that has spawned INSIDE the shop.... :(

Most times you left the building there was always a Talon Company Mercenary squad or some Radscorpions.

Picked this up for £19.99 just after Xmas, god knows how many hours I have put into it, yet I am still playing it now. I don't even know how far in I am or anything!

Even at full price, games like this (inc Fallout & Oblivion) are simply stunning value for money.

Sure, they are a bit buggy sometimes, but certainly enjoyable.

Don't know what it's like on the XBox 360, but it certainly is buggy on the PS3 (in my experience). I'm about 15 hours in & have had it crash the PS3 about 7 or 8 times, and have also got stuck on scenery 3 times.

Doesn't sound too much for 15 hours of play, but it's annoying as hell to have to power down your PS3 that many times.

However, it is a great game & I'd say worth it despite the bugs.

Save frequently!

The games never crashed on my 360 but it just glitches out on various things, most notably the weapons just disappearing.
