Pin Stripe suit or Plain black/grey suit for interview?

What are your guys opinions?

Its an interview for a Software Engineer placement.

edit: I'd just like to add my own opinion... It doesn't matter as long as it looks good, slick and professional. But I think pin stripe gives a more professional outlook, but that's just an opinion. What do you guys think?

think It's out of question as It's a professional field

I don't think I'd be comfortable wearing something like that infront of a person/people all in suits...

That's just an opinion, I think they’re a bit naff and if it has to be a suit then I would go with plain every time.

Completely depends on the type of pin stripe suit and your looks as to how well you pull it off.

Some people look really good in pinstripe, others look like a wannabe gangster.

depends on the person, some folk can look downright spivvy in a pinstripe suit, where as pretty much anybody can look good in a plain suit.

I always like the pinstripe or black, grey always seems cheap to me.

It's just that It's my first interview in a professional field... so have no clue and I'm slightly nervous.
