All young drivers post your insurance prices here !!!

My nephew, 17 years old, was quoted 4.5k third party on a 1.2 bog standard Corsa, suffice to say it'll be sitting on the drive for the forseeable future (best place for it).

Its doesn't matter how old you are its all down to where you live tbh. If I live 4 miles east from where I am now my insurance drops by £500.

The post code, I would say, has a good 70% to do with it.

They did say that on the phone to me, that I live in the top post code for lower insurance. I'd only just taken out insurance on my old car when two weeks later I bought a new one, increasing the value by £15,000. I was expecting to pay at least another £150 on my premium, they just wanted £16 extra ?:)

Get him a classic cae, he should be able to get insurance easily on one of them :D

25, 7NCD, Toyota Celica, Awesome Postcode - £465 Fully Comp £150 Excess :)

When I was 17 though £1300 for a 1.3 Fiesta, which I kept until I was 24 got down to £210 by then. I also don't get the obsession with running a high value/high insurance group car before you are 22-25, as a lot of people have said it is just a waste of money and I couldn't agree more.

Seat Ibiza 1.4 Sport DAB + Aero Bumpers and Skirts = £825.

Aged 21 with 3 Years NCB and clean license. Full time work in IT.

17 I had a 1996 1.2ltr Corsa £500 TP+FTP.

22 - 1.6LS Astra (2000) was about £700

Generally my insurance price has been half decent thankfully. As mentioned a lot of it is just down to your postcode but over these next few years you should see your premium drop a nice chunk each year as you get older (Assuming no claims)
