I have never really thought about Trophy Collection; until I compared my list to few PSN friends and realized it sucked it at. Just wondering how many of you attempt to collect trophies in games, do you ever complete a game many times to unlock trophies?

Few of my games I found that even if you complete the game on hard difficulty it won’t give you “Easy, medium game complete trophies” which I think is cheap tactic.
 
Nice Sig where did you get it from? I see that you 2 platinum trophies looking at few requirements on the games I have seems will be mission to get one lol
 
I didn't care to start off with, but I'm now in a race to 1000 trophies with a mate at work!

I now think they're quite a laugh, and if the trophies are set well in games they can open up parts of the game you might not have bothered with before.

Anyway - to the naysayers, they don't do any harm to you, so don't get all worked up about people that enjoy getting them. :cool:
 
I dont really care about them, the only 1 i really went for was red dead redemption before all the expansions came out, sometimes ill try and get them but i rarely play a game again after i complete it.
 
If I really like a game I'll try and get all the achievements but trophies can naff off, the implementation of them is so poor. If Demon Soul's was on 360 I'd probably get every achievement.

It all really started with my first PS3 I bought, WipEout HD. Took me about a month to complete that to 100% and a couple of weeks later I bought Burnout Paradise and got 100% of that in a couple of weeks.

I've managed to get 3 platinum trophies in the last 3 weeks: Borderlands, Mass Effect 2 and Spare Parts. Currently working on Gran Turismo 5 and after that Dead Space 2. I have Demon''s Souls to play also but I doubt I will Platinum that.
 
I'm currently in a race to 50 gold with someone. At first I didn't really care for trophies but then I looked at the lists, saw a couple and thought "I could do that, easy." From there it spiralled.

Only 4 trophies away from platinuming Fallout New Vegas.
 
I do them if I really enjoy the game, like Bioshock for example.

Maybe trophies more than achievements. It's more satisfying getting a platinum trophy than being stuck at 87% because you don't have the DLC :p I like round numbers!
 
Sometimes if I enjoy the game, I.e last plat was Assassins Creed 2. What an awesome game. Only have about 5 or 6 plats tho.
