***Official Shogun Total War 2 Thread***

Pre-ordered abit back come quite a way since those little sprite models of shogun, I liked each iteration of TW, though i think the cake goes to Rome so far. Its nice to revisit where it started though.
 
can't remember the last time i played a demo! They are so rare.

This is one I will be playing, so many good games out in March but I am only letting myself buy one.

This or NFS Shift 2 are the most likely, but crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2 are also in with a chance. I am sure there was another 2 big games out in march.

I so dont want to hate CA as I have had a long love affair with total war games but every total war game that has come out in the last 5 years has been buggy as hell including medieval 2. Wont be pre-ordering thats for sure.
 
After reading through some threads on Total War Center I want demo to come even quicker. Game is looking very good from all the screenshots I have seen. There is a thread here of a CA employee playing a campaign on normal mode with loads of Q&A and screenshots. Campaign is looking like a lot of fun. A lot more dynamic stuff like the omens, a lot better faction interaction, family trees and the new general talent point system are looking very cool. Here is a link to that campaign diary Here.
 
Anyone know if the demo is 22nd Feb for Europe as well as the US? Or is it Friday for us like a normal game release? If it is 22nd Feb for us, will it be at midnight tonight, or like 8am tomorrow in accordance with US time?
 
Ohh, the chestbox edition looks pretty nice.

This game is going to be glorious!
Hopefully my PC can run it. Shift 2 is coming out soon after too, then Dirt 3 .. etc :(
