What's the best pizza you can buy in a shop

Don't grate it, just cube it and dot around.

Anyway, sorry for the hijack. Made myself hungry now...

Pineapple on a pizza shouls be banned. It should be made to explode in contact with tomatos. Its horrible horrible stuff.

I agree with you on that one!

That tortilla pizza is genius idea. One of my favorite foods is pizza but being on a diet not been having them but i shall treat myself to one of those this weekend :)

Just for your pleasure pineapple should not be on a pizza?

No, for the benefit of the human race it should be banned from the planet. They should all be shot out into space. Until it can decide whether or not it is a sweet or a savoury, then it should be banned. Every pineapple tree should be ritually burned, the earth salted and then nuked from orbit.

It is, of course, the only way to be sure!

Made 2 tortilla pizzas tonight on the new Mission herb tortillas wrap things

1 Mozarella, cheddar, passata with herbs, chillis, chorizo and vine cherry tomatoes
2 Mozarella, cheddar, passata with herbs, pepperoni, red pepper, red onion and pineapple, yes pineapple ;)

I tried my hand at making pizza from the ground up last night with my girlfriend, using Jamies 30 minute meal.

Have to say it didnt come out too great, the base was a nightmare, we got it into a pizza shape but it was just too doughy, still for a first effort not too bad, the topping and base was nice though, will give it another crack soon.

I had a drunken takeaway from a local shop in Paisley that I hadnt been to for years and it was the nicest pizza id had (probably due to said drunkenness - salami chicken and sweetcorn).

but yeah, i do agree, when we made our pizza last night, we ripped the cheese. The one thing id say, and its what made our pizza base go wrong, is stupid Jamie Olivers definitions on things. For the pizza base we had to put a glug of olive oil in. What the hell is a glug? Then we had to put a swig of something in something else, one mans swig can be different to the next?

Just give me the measurements Oliver and we will have more luck with the base next time.

I usually opt for the Pizza Express Sloppy Giuseppe, mainly because they're often on BOGOF and they're the only really acceptable fresh spiced beef pizza out there. I have on occasion though gone for the M&S flame-grilled vegetable and pesto. I'm no veggie, but by god that's a delicious pizza.
