If I wanted to create a slipstreamed windows 7 cd what files do I need to add to the RT7Lite program for it to do so?

Already installed SP1 and it was update from Windows Update wee while ago and it just minor update nothing much...

That's just asking for trouble, most of the time it removes needed files. This happened with nlited xp few years back.

1 SP1 keeps failing (TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE ).
2 Tells me to install System Update Readiness thing.
3 System Update Readiness thing says it's installed, but doesn't seem to run or do anything else.
4 goto 1

I read today, that there are a few prerequisites, before you try to install sp1. Make sure you install all the stuff it offers (important) before installing sp1.

For me, iv stayed uptodate with the updates, so my sp1 download is ony 86mb...

Popped into windows update and installed fairly quickly for me, don't think there's anything apart from rolled up fixes and some new bits for server 2008.

I have kept up to date too, and SP1 is only showing as 13.6mb for me, but I keep getting the same error TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE.

Does anyone know if I have to do anything else with the System Update Readiness utility other than just click on it and let it install?

It looks like they are starting to patch the activation exploits. Lets see how fast it takes to get around this. [KB2484033]

Installed SP1, on reboot it said it had failed to install, checked Computer -> Properties and it says I have "Service Pack 1" installed. Errr... yeah.

edit: I deleted the 100MB system partition when I installed W7, don't know if that makes a difference.

Why?

This 100MB partition contains files to allow recovery mode.

kb971033 was released last July, in any case who cares about people who steal it. They should just release an update to format PC's

What hacks?

It will restore any system changes including uxtheme files but the old universal theme patcher will still work.

I`m sure he means registry tweaks.

Any registry tweaks that he has done should remain even after SP1 install.
