I always go back to the m24 when playing as recon, great mil-dot reticle on the scope, fast reload time and pretty decent damage. The m95 just feels clunky by comparison, gol isnt a bad choice either. Ive tried using the g3 and m14 as recon but the recoil with them is pretty substantial.

I have 1283 tags, 9 of which are Pieplough. Only 200 and something against so my K/D on knife is miles better than with guns
Not bad for lvl 42. I'm also on lvl 42 and got 1365 tags but have been going onto smoke kills now (556). I used to use the 40mm grenade but smoke is more fun

The most kills I've got as a Recon are from GOL+12xscope+magnum ammo. I used M24 and SV98 a lot too. M95 on the other hand is a really poor rifle, the only good thing I found out about it was the ability of penetrating a heli. Great for multi kills if you take down the pilot.
Where do you get all this information from?
A useful nugget though as I've often shot sniped at the heli and because I gig the hit icon appear I thought if j were to continue I'd eventually bring it down. 2 points would take a lot of shots.
Time to get good with the AT4 then. Seeing too many pilots with smoke perk these days owning for too long ANC spoiling games.

Good round squadding up with you and beorg earlier, i basically went on to test that my gpu's were working ok after the crash i had earlier. Took me a minute or two to get going but good fun when i did start getting a few kills. Btw mate, remind me not to jump in a chopper with you again.im getting on now after the 0 - 0 on the football

Shame that you left us without notice, jimlad had a nice argument with some guy later in the game
Not a bad day in general, I did pretty well in the morning, screwed up the afternoon game but went back to manageable form this evening.
