Bit bland but nice for a Specialized.

thanks,
im not a mega 'look at me and my purple bike' type of guy.
if it does the job then im happy, i use to own a pitch pro so it will be nice to compare - im hoping this delivers as much as the pitch.

will be doing some upgrades over the few months so if you have any constructive suggestions (constructive being the main word there) then shout away.

My comments are always constructive :) But upgrades on a new bike?

Aye, I think I will get a couple of these - http://www.evanscycles.com/products/continental/26-x-175-25-schrader-valve-mtb-tube-ec017411

Same one that RB linked to at Wibble but on special at £2.99 which even CRC can't beat just now.

I have just built the wheel back up and inflated it to 70PSI (tyre says in can take 30-80PSI) to see what happens overnight. Am I right in assuming that most people dont repair tubes anymore, they just replace the tube ?

Thats a good price for the conti's two for one so just got me a pair :D

I have become rather tempted by a couple of frames lately so am thinking of splitting apart my Enduro; frame, forks, dhx shock and front wheel, just throwing that out there :D

Specialized. The Ford of the bike world. Does the job but ****ing boring. Needs multi coloured upgrades to make it worth talking about!

:p

Funniest comparison ever. you sir are 100% wrong.

Us mature riders, someone over the age of 16, dont realy want 18" alloys, sub's and bass box. we want a car that performs well..... Damn. I mean a Bike that performs well and has well designed technology.
Better than these micky mouse 'niche' brands or copy cats. OH I could carry on if I was so lazy...

Edit - If you were to make a car brand comparison, it would be BMW. Well proven tech, well built but common as muck.

Let it go - there're only winding us up ;)

A cool bike with two top awesome riders in shot ;)

Has any one had any experiance with Racing Ralphs? took me 30 minutes to put on a Dtswiss 4.2d rim. With lots of swearing!

Could just be because they are new tyres? Or you need to do less cycling and more upper body work :p

Plenty tough enough it is marketed as a DH/FR bike, a guy in my local club rides an Ellsworth really nicely made frames but proper fugly! That massive four bar linkage

Finally gave my Session a proper clean today, winter has taken it's toll on it and the surface rust in some places was mental :/ An hour with mucoff, degreaser and other stuff and it's sparkling again :D

There must be a fair amount of sag set in that bike.... Either that or you like the numbing feeling around your giblets :D

Damn brakes were giving me jip today. Refitted the rear wheel now that it seems to be holding pressure and, for some bizarre reason, one of the brake pads (V-Brakes) was rubbing on the rim. Had to faff about recentering them. Practically have to screw one side of the adjustment screw right in to get it to work ok yet it was ok when before I removed the damn wheel

Will soon find out if there is a problem tomorrow. Got myself a 20 mile on and off-road route planned. Roads and Cycletracks then up onto the hills and forests where there is some old mines and mine railways. Never been so should be interesting... Just hoping I dont get a flat or the brakes decide to screw up after my tinkering :o
