Reference cooler so very quiet when just running normal 2D and still quiet when gaming, only get loud when OC'd or in a poorly ventilated case or when ambient temps are high as in Summer.

That's good to hear, read something that said they where only a few dB quieter than a 480... Found this hard to believe

As Gibbo has said these are much quieter than a 4870x2. They are not completely silent when overclocked/unlocked but are not a jet engine either!

The Twin Frozr is quieter than reference cards by a few dBA at load, but as far as I know it can not unlock the 6970 shaders.

Would it matter if I already have a OcUK/Powercolor one and mix it with the MSI for xfire?

What sort of date do you expect them to arrive in stock?

I've heard of people mixing 6950's into a successful crossfire, not sure though. if not maybe if you both flash them with the same bios?
