Whats your favourite in game weapon/s?

Plasma cutter in DS. Alway nice to dismember before the stamp.

Headshotting with a sniper rifle in gears is also full of reward.

Torque Bow :)
 
Something completely different.

The Ak-47 from project IGI. Everytime you crank it up, it's like being back in a 80's war flick, they hooked the sound straight from rambo:)
 
In general I love shotguns and sniper rifles, I like to be either upclose or at a distance, not a big fan of the middle ground.

Also a bit of a strange one - the bolt action rifles with a baynonet in COD:WAW, used to love them, I'm a bit dissapointed more games don't give you the option of using sniper rifles without the scope.

What's the point in a sniper rifle if it doesn't have a scope? :confused:
 
I also used to enjoy using the energy drain weapon in "Project Eden". It would drain the life from the monsters and give you energy cells which you could use to power other weapons.
 
I love how carbines in WW2 games are basically that genre's rail gun. DoD's KAR was a thing of beauty.

I have a thing for the M4/M16 in whatever game I play. It was my favourite gun in CS, and now I can't shake the habit. It's about the fourth best rifle in Goldeneye, but I still pick it over anything else when it's on the floor.

Shock rifle was the ****. My favourite tricks video was some of the insane kills you could get with the combo.

Thats one thing I love about Crysis. Sometimes when I've picked up a heavy weapon like the Minigun that spreads fire out a bit I need something more presise at closer range and have used the Sniper Rifle a few times with the Red Dot sight. Its great at taking out those Aliens.

And I forgot the to mention the Flamer in Far Cry 2 as well. I know I have a thing for Flamethrowers, but the dynamic fire in the game makes this weapon particually effective at any range as you can light the bush in front of you and (depending on the wind direction) watch the fire spread toward your enemies while it also destroys any explosive gas tanks, vehicles, petrol stations etc on the way!

Agree 100%, any game that gets the M1 Garrand done right, is good times.

Love the gun and the sound...
