Stuff you can't believe you didn't know

When you go running it takes around 2 miles for your body to adjust to the fact it's being asked to run, which is why running feels easier after two miles.

When calling in a US military cas-evac you need to state location, number of casualties, whether they are US soldiers/US nationals/foreign soldiers/or foreign civilians and how critical they are. There's also a final section of the cas-evac in which you can state whether there is a biological/chemical or nuclear threat at the landing site.

Do you even know how to multi quote? It takes one more click than normal quoting, hardly the biggest effort in the world.

Mosquito repellents don't repel. They hide you. The spray blocks the mosquito's sensors so they don't know you're there.

The first product to have a bar code was Wrigley's gum.

The plastic things on the end of shoelaces are called aglets.
