Going for a Chinese buffet tonight. I've only ever had sweet and sour chicken and prawn crackers. What are some things to look out for? I know most people will say 'everything', but the amount there is huge!

There is much more there that isn't listed too, apparently. :)

I'd go for :
Crispy duck, Laksa, Teriyaki Salmon/Chicken (although that's Japanese :D) , glutinous rice in lotus leaf (should be with chicken, lo mai gai) , roasted pork buns (char siew pau)

Anyway, its a buffet so just pick up small bits and try anything that looks interesting :)

Try everything! We have no idea what kind of food you like.
Load up your plate with little bits of everything and give it all a try.

Personally I like salted chilli chicken wings (not a fan of chicken wings in any other situation), Spare Ribs of any kind are good too.

is this the one in oldbury or is wingwah nationwide?
the one in oldbury is awesome, got a (err forgot the name - where they'll cook a piece of meat in front of you?) section aswell. i must go again soon.

It’s a large buffet and part of the fun is finding something you like. So just try anything that takes your fancy or looks interesting. Varity is the spice of life, let your palate decide and not us. :)

Exactly this! Everyone's tastes are different, I hate satay so much even the smell makes me heave but my other half loves it. How are we supposed to know what you find tasty. ;)

Although its not particularly adventurous, Spring/pancake rolls are absolutely delicious if made properly. I could eat 20 at a time :)
