Sat in London watching the Liverpool game but were going to grab food after this. Any nice suggestions? Don't mind a little travel providing its within reason. Anywhere around the city center is good!

La Perla Mexican restaurant Maiden lane near Convent Garden opposite the Porterhouse pub.

Great food tasty price and the Margharita's are cut above the average.

Where in London are you? Try finding an indian takeaway restaurant called Sakonis nearby and order chow mein and chilli paneer, best takeaway ever! Or go in and eat

Wahaca is much better than La Perla.

Taro is a nice little Japanese restaurant, as is Tokyo Diner which is cool as well.

Theres a lovely Burger place in london, Had a pretty decent selection of burgers, i think it was called Burger prince or something like that.

Agreed. La Perla is distinctly average, you may as well go to Chiquitos or whatever it's called in Leicester Square!

Wahaca is immense and much cheaper as well. Go to the one in Soho though as it has a proper bar downstairs while you're waiting for your table. At the one in Covent Garden you end up queuing on the stairs which is pretty naff. Expect to wait for at least 30mins at both though, but it's worth it!
