Unhappy with Card Spacing...

I have the Lancool K60, spacing is good.

i have the same layout with my system
no problem what so ever with heat
just turned on now, top card idles at 34 bottom idles at 39
heaven bench and games, top card max 74 bottom card max 62
 
Its a joke that, with them sandwiched together like that, cos how is the top card going to pull any air in........ Shocking, motherboard designs really annoy me, as you spend hundreds on a board and the design is ****.
 
Someone did use their brain when designing my board, but I dont think I'll ever go crossfire with this board, as my cpu is slightly bottlenecking my 6950 anyhow.

Thankfully the slot spacing on my current asus p6t deluxe v2 is pretty good,

Still though, i added a spotcool as the top card used to run 10c higher than the bottom one.
 
id say if you are thinking about a new case i have the coolermaster hafx and t has exellent cooling my cards idle are about 28 degress lol...
 
The RIIE is equipped to run 16x 16x 1x OR 16x 8x 8x only


tbh, wedge something between your cards and add a fan blowing between them, sticky a 120mm to the PSU with double sided tape or something.
 
I mean if I use the first PCIE slot and the third PCIE slot - would that still count as 16x 16x or does the order change with using the bottom slot instead of slot 2?
