****The Nintendo 3DS Thread****

3 hours with full 3D, max brightness and wifi is fine. I imagine I'll get double that out of normal use.

Exactly, I always used to have wifi on when I had my DSi but it lasted a lot longer with it off and the backlight on half.

Also regarding piracy on the 3DS, I read a week or so ago that their is a White list for DS games, all they've done is add the name of the cartridge to that whitelist and it works, as far as I know it's only DS games so far and not 3DS.

Any people here bought with IWOOT at £167 and claimed the 15% off from TopCashBack? I didnt get the full cashback amount and I am querying it/pushing them about it. Im not optimistic about the cash back.

Is there any grounds for false advertising and all that shizzle here? Or theres no leg to stand on?

Well if I did get my 15% with TCB it would work out at a little over £170 with a game...

Have you experienced cancellations for cash back offers in the past Kreeeee?

Just trying to pick a case, I can't really find one I want.

The large expedition bag is too big, the leather case won't hold a lot of games and the official hard cases look like they'll collect dust and stuff at the bottom of my bag.

may just end up going with a cheap case like I had my DSi in that pretty much contained it, didn't get dirty and held quite a few games (5-6).

What case has everyone else ordered?

I'm in two minds about getting a 3DS. The battery life and region locking killed it for me. Thankfully I've been on a nostalgia trip recently so I've got more than enough gaming to keep me occupied!

I think you can use DSi cases. This is the one I'm going to get.

Love the price drops :D

Went in to game and they have a demo unit, seems the 3d effect is ruined if you view it from anywhere other than straight-on?

I think £188 with a game is around about that :D.

Oh yeah! :D

When, if ever, will we see a change in price on electronics like this? After the recent events in Japan I'm thinking maybe the second shipment when it does come is going to be more expensive? Or maybe even a hike in the current price if there is going to be a supply shortage?
