as the title really. I love the MK 2 Audi TT interior with the square bottom wheel.

Whats the closest thing thats going to be available in an economical diesel with 4 or 5 doors ?

I first thought Audi A4, but the wheel on the A4 is horrible. :(

and not even the S4 has one

any ideas what other VAG cars would have the closest interior to the TT ? The black and white dials in the TT look awesome too :

Always sly digs Fox, always.

Someday you will grow up.

Sly digs? Seriously?!

It was a joke

The RS4 is the only Audi saloon with a flat bottomed wheel, and also happens to be completely epic, however it's also eyewateringly expensive so... wait a sec, why do I need to explain myself to you?

I suspect the RS4 wheel is a direct fit into the A4 TDI S-Lines interior though - so that would be a way forward?

Golf GTD I'd imagine is the closest you'll reasonably get in diesel form.

- Available in 5 doors.
- White dials.
- Flat bottomed wheel.
- Economical diesel.
- Not ball-bustingly expensive.

Edit - you said saloon so I fail.

Not sure, There seems to be a sport (s) button on the wheel which is unlikely to be used in normal A4

The TT wheel seems more like a possible match steering wheel control wise, and is more than likely cheaper to get hold of.

that looks really nice actually.

Its not a "spec me" thread since i'm not buying. Just saw those TT interior photos on Detailing World and wondered if anything more practical than the TT had the same interior :) 5 door Golf would fit the bill perfectly.

He is wrong about it not being expensive though.

A completely base spec Golf GTD is... wait for it..

.drum roll...

.... remember it's a 2 litre diesel designed to save money....

.......... TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS.

you can get the audi flat bottomed multi function wheel retrofitted to pretty much any modern audi... will cost around a grand for a new one fitted though! Hazzy Dayz offer the service among others.

Its also an option on the S's and possibly on the S-lines i think.

Apologies, It cam across as a sly dig. Seemed related to a larger MrLOL thread when he was selling the VXR.
