I've made a purchase and its bright yellow!

Can't believe so many are loving the colour. Fantastic car but why yellow? Personal preference I suppose but I'd have thought something a bit more subtle would have suited the car better.

One of those things, you see it in the flesh and all of a sudden yellow makes a lot of sense, but I knew it would be marmite. :D
 
Awesome car, and as has been said, probably one of the few that actually looks good in that colour. I'd go custom exhaust, if your gonna have to pay for the Porsche Sport Exhaust, you might as well go the extra length and get a better specced one.

Porsche one is £1200, sounds great but no power hike. OPC warranty no issues. :)

3rd party one could release upto 30 horses and sound even more raw, but come OPC warranty time re-newal for claiming I'd have to take it off and put stock back on first, which is hassle but also why its a good idea I learn how to do it myself too if I go that root. :D

Reading your description it has a 3rd party warranty? Or have I read this wrong, or are you going to go back onto the Porsche Warranty with 111 point check etc?
 
re the exhaust you can get a mod done which makes it the same as the sports exhaust but permantently in sport mode, cost £200-300


oh and does your PCM have recent map disk ? I have the 2009 one ;)

3rd party AA Gold warranty for 6 months. But in 3 months I shall put an OPC on it unless your all about to tell me how good AA Gold warranties are?

More details on the £300 mod? I shall just do that then if thats true and then if I want more power I shall go 3rd party. :)
 
That does look pretty awesome, Porche in general dont really do it for me but that does look pretty awesome and its hard to knock for a driving experience.

I was never much of a yellow car fan either but I fell in love with a yellow s2000 once and was so close to buying it. I bottled it in the end though.

Hope it brings you lots of pleasure.
