Hi all, my littleun is coming on to 9 months now and my dad, who lives in Greece, is desperate to get some nice pictures of her sent to him! I have a HP Photosmart C4180 all-in-one which doesnt print very good pics at all!

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with decent printers/scanners that is capable of printing decent pics (that arent grainy) and can also print A3 for AutoCAD layouts.

Many thanks in advance, Chris

Although I have a colour inkjet printer, I usually use "Snappy snaps" or Jessops to print photos for people. Its cheaper, better print quality and less time consuming (if you're doing a lot of prints). They both offer on-line services.

+1 to getting someone with an industrial grade printer to produce them.

A3 autocad is a different issue, and probably different enough that two printers would be required anyway. One which can do high quality, small colour photos and a different one for monochrome A3. One printer which does both, will inevitably do both poorly and/or cost ludicrous amounts.
