Been shopping...

After nearly 2 weeks of waiting (and an especially slow last couple of days!) we picked it up today!

Really pleased with it - will post more and put up proper pics over the weekend :)

Have you got a warrenty on it and can this be extended?
What are service costs like (is it 1 or 2 years)?
I quite fancy the estate version
 
I'm surprised people hate the wheels, I think they suit the car perfectly. I certainly wouldn't spend god-knows-how-much changing them... you'll need that money for petrol ;).

It's still within it's 3 year manufacturers warranty (just...) but will have a 1 year BMW warranty at no cost under the Approved Used Car scheme. This can be renewed for about £1200pa if the mileage is under 60,000 (or for considerable more over 60,000 miles). The full level of cover is available until the car reaches 100,000 at which point it significantly reduces. The use the mileage at renewal date so if you're on 59,999 you pay the lower price for the following 12 months.

You can also pay monthly... which works out a little bit more expensive, but supposedly they just make a continuous payment arrangement and never check the mileage again until you stop the cover.
