The pentagon said earlier that no planes were in the air over Libya yet until the anti air systems had been hit so I doubt it to be true,

It has already been confirmed that the first shots fired were from a French plane at 16:45 earlier today, and that several tanks etc have been destroyed by french aircraft. No US planes yet though
 
I love how its taken weeks to do something and now our news agencys are playing the 'wow look how QUICK' its all happening, our media need to stop manipulating us as well (although its done to a lesser more subtle extent)

The diplomatic phase has taken time and rightly so, the military phase has started very quickly although it appears that it was forced to to ensure it was not too late to act.
 
I like how America arnt 'leading' this one, everyone seems to be putting the same amount of resources in and I feel this shows a united front
