On a side note.. with japan in the poop, and the rest of the world focusing around the middle east/ northern africa i wonder whether North Korea will play their hand at causing some havok.... just a thought...

I find it mind boggling how people in one country can have such different views... people who are so strongly against Gaddafi and can see what people on the outside looking in can see, yet there are still so many people who still support him and think him in charge is a wonderful thing.

You think UKSF will be on the ground in Libya Castiel?

They've already been in with a diplomatic party and where politely asked to leave. However I wouldn't doubt that they were already in the country prior to the diplomatic mission and the mission of pulling out British citizens. And I don't doubt that they'll continue to be in the country now and for the foreseeable future. Or they'll be on board Navy vessels in the region to go in at the drop of a hat.

I didn't mean that the rebels had UKSF factions amongst them if that is what you meant.

Do I think that there are elements of our armed forces inside Libya.

Like I said, I remember many years ago listening to a radio report saying that there were no UK troops in the Congo, while I was sat in the Congo in my combat uniform.

I am sure you can guess what I think.

Thanks, I asked because I value your opinion on this subject.

Thankyou.

I would fully expect that elements of our forces are in or able to be deployed in all the current hotspots in the middle east right now and if they are not, it is almost certain that they are in prep to do so.

The same was true in Afghanistan, weeks before official deployment there were people in theatre. Bosnia the same, we sat and watched the Russians enter Pristina Airport long before Capt Blount and his Cavalry arrived.
