People were being needlessly wide, dunno if they were drunk or whatever being a Saturday night... But regardless, should be more respectful.

Like I said I had a whole load of stone, 1000+, nicked from my chest, night before last, so I think we have some griefers.

Where is your build thats been removed/damaged?
 
People have to post pics of dmg / pics of "/bb here 10" and "/bb here userName 10" so these things can be seen and evidence gathered. Especially so as you need find 2 (or more) instances of damage before someone is banned anyway.

Agreed.

There will be an update later today in regards to behaviour/bans/etc.

n1blo it's really help full if you tell us when this happens so we can check who opened the chests before it's lost in a mass of names.

Also you can use signs to protect your chests.
 
I thought they fixed that exploration bug ages ago?

I doubt it was that as it was lagging before I set off on my merry adventure

I did say innitaily but I didn't want to go pointing fingers, as I'm new myself and I wasn't entirely sure at the time...

It was a few days ago and the chest has been accessed by myself a few times since, so I'm not sure it will show up.

I've since put up private signs on the chests, and will be reporting any further theft/griefing.

/bb stick 1 and right click on the chest.
 
Sorry to keep on guys but am i going to be unbanned anytime soon? ive been checking the forums and trying to connect since 11ish this morn, i'd just like to know whats been decided and then i can stop hanging on so to speak. I notice blinkvirus is active on the server as well which is why i ask.
 
Judging by your transcript ^^ Up there you didn't seem to bothered about a ban.

Yet you've been on here begging numerous times and it's not even been 24hrs!
 
Server Update: Bannings, new whitelisting methods and a new admin.

New Admin: Zumii

Please welcome Zumii to the admin team. She will be taking on the same role and responsibilities as Sylvet and Tefal. It will take a little while for her to get up to speed so please keep that in mind if you need to ask for any support.

New Whitelisting Methods

As earlier hinted at, we now have a new system for approving people for the whitelist.

The earlier rules regarding forum accounts will now be enforced strictly.

In order to gain access to the server you must register on linktart.co.uk and join the Minecraft group. Once in this group, click the Minecraft Server link and then Register. Add your minecraft username to this field. Once that is done, post a message on here or message one of the group admins on linktart.co.uk and request to be whitelisted.

Bans

Unfortunately there has been a spate of bad behaviour of late. The admin team has spent some time investigating this and discussing solutions. We have also given the benefit of the doubt to people in general. Unfortunately, it sometimes comes to the point where further behaviour can no longer be tolerated. As such, the following people below are now perma-banned from the server. The server rules will soon be updated to make expectations regarding behaviour more clear and the process followed for bannings more transparent.

blinkvirus, booshfan91, WhiteWolf1201
Banned for item stealing, building destruction and antisocial chat.
(WhiteWolf pre-emptively banned as was 'vouched for' by banned user)

Lysander666
Banned for repeated antisocial chat despite multiple warnings.
