I've just about had it with this game online. It's good but has too many problems.
*Servers that don't work properly or seem to all be based in america.
*Choppers that you have no counter for.
*Getting shot from miles away.
*spawn killing is ridiculous.

Get rid its a rip off ,and its got enough yank product placement in it to bring it on par with junk mail, somebodys getting very fat on it.

No, even with it's problems the game is still 50 times better than CoD.

Sorry, I'm just not sure how you can look at the videos posted online and see this as a CoD rip off. It's closer to the likes of MAG and BC2 rather than CoD, if you like wider scale multiplayer battles this would probably be a fun game for you but if you prefer the run and gun tight quarters action then you'd probably prefer CoD or maybe Crysis 2 that's also on the way.

Played it yesterday. Not very good. I'm sticking with BFBC2 until BF3.

Homefront - Returned.

So how many players are in this, per match as MAG was something stupid like 256 player battles which sounds great on paper but in practice it was either get killed from nowhere by some random straggler or end up just fighting the same squad in the same position over and over making the 200+ players a bit irrelevant when you're just fighting the same 9 or 10 guys all the time.

32 per game I think it is. Though I'm not sure if that's in all modes or not.

Only Ground Control has 32 players, Battle Commander GC has 24 and TDM has 16 I think.

It just has that same feel to it with the battlepoints and maps. It feels far detached from CoD. Hard to put yo' finga on it.

I like this game I really do but I dont love it, it needs some tlc, it needed to be released in a better state it should have been delayed by a month or more. I bet the devs and th publichers are kicking themselves now after the drop in share prices.

looking forward to tne patch hopefully it will fix a lot of things.

i was going to get it but then thought I will wait a bit and see what people really think of the multiplayer - I bought Medal Of Honour and stopped playing online within a few days. Spawn raping etc etc. The youtubers and other people were raving about it etc. And I'm seeing the same thing now with Homefront. I'd rather play MW2/Black Ops/BF2 than waste money on another 5 minute wannabe. Perhaps it will be in the bargain bin in a few weeks?

I've only played the first 3 missions on SP and so far im enjoying it, although the fact you need to constantly cajoole (sp) your AI friends into opening doors etc annoys me.

The "run" option feels like a quick walk, meaning you are likely to be taken out by the sentry guns if your timing isnt impeccable, as well as running from grenades.

Only played a little MP as well but so far enjoyed it. My main game in BC2 so expected great things from Homefront. Only time will tell once I get into the MP more.

Graphics are like Half Life - look like 10yrs old :-)

But definitely worth a rental at least.

Once I finishe the SP i'll dive into MP and if it floats my boat i'll probably try and buy 2nd hand game and buy code, or get it new when reduced.

Whenever I try and join my mates who are already playing online it causes the ps3 to freeze... Does this happen to others?

I dont really hate it its just my warped sarcastic sense of humour
