which USB headset (xbox 360) ?

Im after a full blown headset to replace the standard MS one, i want USB and detatchable mic

i know turtle beach ones are recomended but ive also read a few negative comments so are there any other brands i should look at ?

budget of around 40/50 quid

I have X11's. No detachable mic but the beast you'll get for that price. I wasn't aware you could get detachable mic's for xbox?

I think I have the same (X11) or maybe X31 but the Turtle beach range are excellent. The TB ones have mute option for the mic.

Not sure of the other brands though

The mic pick up on the x11's is so loud for other users.
