List your top pro gamer

As in title, I know some people on a gaming forum might be fans of particular gamers, name yours. Vids as proof are encouraged! Would be interesting to see who everyone regards as "the best of the best"

Well, I was thinking specifically of the guys that play CS 1.6 at ESWC and their epic skills. If I had to pick a favourite it'd be f0rest

That's a big assumption. I've been playing FPS since the DOS days, and don't think I could even name a single pro gamer. Never had any interest in watching someone else play games - it's time I could use playing something myself.
 
Pro gamers arent really that known tbh, i mean sure you can get them from website for SK Gaming, and Team Diginitas but they dont really advertise the "sport" they play in. It isnt like football where you see Rooney in the Nike Store or Beckham in the addidas adverts.

I mean you have Fatal1ty who was one of the first and then decided to shred as much money as he could from his fame which to be honest is fair play.

I think we should get OcUk to setup an official gaming team :p

10 seems a bit much but the rare times I've seen vids of just good players posted on this forum, let alone pro it is often met with the usual "wtf I plai publix 8 hours a day and once got a 2:1 KDR so nao I'm like awsum and my brainz are liek VAC and that guy is definitlee cheetz yo!"
 
Sorry, I meant I was trying to get a list of 10 players, not have everyone list 10 each. I guess I made a bigger assumption than I thought lol. I just can't get my head round how you get that good at a game, hence why I thought it'd be interesting to see more vids of people who were regarded as "the best". Doesn't have to be CS btw, any game where you've seen a vid and thought "that is some unbelieveable skillzzzzzz!!!111" would suffice.
 
Getting good at a game:

Specialise in 1 particular game that you know is available at Tournaments like iSeries and Enemdy and places like this.

After that release some YouTube videos of your gaming to get a bit noticed, but the way to get noticed to become a Pro is play against them in tournaments.

Getting good at a game is the easy part, getting spotted is the hardest.
 
Another way of getting good is playing in community or a clan, that way you will have good teamwork (dependant on the clan) and more people to talk to about how they play.

Watching videos on youtube is another way to pick up tips, see what other people do. :) Ive played in a few tournaments and won 3/6 so not to bad but they were only small, but the people who beat me i went back and watched how they played, its always the way to get better.
