asus are one of the worst for RMA's im afraid not as bad as some because some you might not ever hear anything back but asus do get to it eventually but yes it can take around 4-8 weeks im afraid.

could buy something cheap to tie you over while you wait something like a GTS 250 450 or anything under £100 something is better than nothing then you always have something as a backup when your card eventually gets back.

Maybe its an option. If i had any idea what they may send me back i could buy one and crossfire them when i got it back.I don`t know if it will be repaired or replaced.

Yup, so far I've had an Asus 480GTX that has been on an RMA for over half the time I've owned it. RMA was issued 1 working day outside of the 28 day period too - will not be touching an Asus product again.

Just bought the xfx 5870 in the sale.At least im not without a card for a month. Now all i need is asus to send me a replacement of a 5870,im not that lucky though.

I got one of the Gigabyte 480 GTX's while they were on discount. Now I'm upgrading my mobo in the B2 to B3 exchange sli might be a possibility :D.

I did this last month, didn't hear anything back after the 28 days so I contacted OcUK and they replaced it with a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6950 2048MB.

I would expect you would get the same, not too bad really given I had had the 4870x2 for about 2.5 years.

Ending up with a DX11 card with similar performance but without the xfire problems you get in some games is more than i was expecting, not to mention I can flash it to a 6970 :)

Im glad it worked out well for you.Thats a pretty good outcome, here`s hoping.
On a side note does the warranty transfer. So say i had 6 months left, that would be transfered to the new card?

Anyone confirm this is how rma replacements work? you recieve a new warranty if you have a brand new replacement card.

no, warranty from OcUK is from original purchase date. If you register the card with Asus again you *might* get another 3yrs.
after 28 days yu can complain to OcUK and get a new one from stock. With my XFX RMA, after about 25days i sent an RMA complaint via webnote and they gave me one from stock
