Hey guys.

So now GTX590 is out, Ive been thinking of upgrading as my GTX460 768mb probably wont handle upcoming games the way I like.

So with all the cards that came out, does anyone have any suggestions to what should I upgrade ?

My current setup:

Phenom II X4 965 3.4ghz
GTX460 768MB
4GB DDR3 G.Skill ram
Coolermaster GX550W power supply.

I was thinking of GTX480, but im not sure my PSU would handle it. Anyway, recommendations ? Im looking at 200 squids price range, I could stretch a bit though.

Mhm, on nVidia site it states that 600w would be minimum for the 480.

One thing im bothered about with the 6950 is its size, though. It's 10.5 inches long, and that is pretty big. My case can fit in the GTX460 without a problem though, Asus version. I think 6950 is 2 inches bigger. Not sure what to do

Cheapest option is Revision 1 6950 unlocked to 6970.
Or
You could get the 480 SOC but you may have to get up to a 850W psu to make sure it can handle that particular card. Many people are having a nightmare with it regarding power draw.

Well yours is 550w so it misses the mark there, plus I had a bad experience with a coolermaster and it only lasted about a month and then took out my cpu, ram and board, if you cannot afford another PSU I would be carefull knowing that the GTX is quite power hungry

Add a 2nd 460(if your board supports SLI) and get an Antec Truepower 750w psu? that should be about £200 plus would fit your case?
