Missus is getting bigger with her new bump, she's permanently knackered and/or asleep. I know i must have had sex at some point but the memory is getting foggy :)

Sex is an important part of a relationship, as I told her

If one person wants it, but the other never does, there is something seriously wrong and you need to get rid

I can kinda understand it if kids get in the way... but if there are no kids, why are you putting up with that?

Men have needs, simple as! Just as women have needs for you to keep the house tidy, or buy them pretty things!

Sex-less relationship.

I just am, I do have a whinge now and again. I think I am waiting for her to get it sorted, but it has been awhile now.

I know we need it, why the mind wanders. Haven't cheated though which is good I guess, I know some guys would have lost it ages ago.
 
I was in a similar situation to yourself
We were together for about 2 1/2 years

About 6 months into the relationship, sex started to decline, I tried to be understanding as she said it was painful (like a donkey) and so I didnt try it on, waited for her to make the first move etc etc. ended up waiting months at a time before I actually got fed up and tried to make a move myself, then she would have a go at me for "pressuring" her. I tried to talk to her about it, but each time she made me feel like I was expecting too much and that "sex isnt everything" (btw just before someone asks, she was 21, and not a virgin! :P )

In the end we broke up, turns out shes a liar and Im better off without.

If I was you mate, I would get out of it, or give her an ultimatum.

I know that sounds weird, its just sex right?!? WRONG, its an important part of a healthy relationship, and if its not happening without fair reason, then something is going on.

Dont spend the rest of your years celebate man, if you wanted to do that you would join a monestry!

But the way I see it, if she doesent want to have sex with you, she either:

a) doesent fancy you

b) is getting it somewhere else

c) is just frigid!

Now if it was c) you would know from the moment you got together.

If the sex was there but has declined, it is one of the top 2.

It may be hard to face but I spent 2 years trying to figure it out with my ex, those are 2 years I sacrificed many oportunities with other women, didnt attend many big parties as she didnt want to, and also lost a few friends due to lack of social contact.

All for a girl who didnt want me!! What a waste!

Dont waste any more of your time dude, chances are, if she doesent want it now after 3 years, she never will! And from my recent experience, the thrill of meeting new women, even if you dont get them in to bed, is far superior than having your self esteem destroyed at home in a sexless relationship!!

Sherbs, my girlfriend went the same way, she said it was painful to have sex, then it turned out it wasnt painful it was just "all in her head"

I suggested we go to a sex therapist or that she talk to her doctor about the type of contraceptive pill she was on as that may be having an affect.

This was met with MUCH hostility.

You sound like you are in the exact same situation that I was in, now Im rid of it and my self confidence is getting much better as she pretty much ran me into the ground.

I would seriously suggest you take action dude, as its not one of those things that gets better with time.

If she loves you, she needs to understand that sex is an important part of a healthy relationship, and that without it you will go elsewhere.
 
Well I'm not paying for it, so no, I couldn't. Call me simple but it's a requirement, a fundamental element to my survival!

That said I'm not the kind of guy to consider marriage, I enjoy myself too much and yes I'm very selfish at times.
 
I think it's as important to a relationship as the emotional and spiritual sides. Some people may be able to live without it, but to me it's essential.
 
As long as we could do everything but intercourse, then I think probably yes.

I could do without being inside someone as long as I could be beside them, that's the important bit anyway.
