ive just formatted my computer and im trying to get back on, ive had to re-register on the linktart website, which i think ive done correctly, where can i check if its goen through? and is there any delays or wait times?

You have to wait for an admin to approve you...which I've just done :)

Wow! That's really impressive! Well done to everyone involved.

Does the community spawner still work so you can make more TNT for the next room? Is that why you started another project, or just fancied a change?

Hey everyone,

I was considering building a new mob spawner as the efficiency of the three i have access too (community, Hindrance's and FrenchTarts) seems to have dropped off heavily since the most recent updates.

Perhaps they just need tweaking, I've read up on it and there are a few rumours flying about.

1: Mobs will no longer fling them selves off ledges if they could get hurt, maybe alter the drop heights from the spawning platforms.

2: The spawning radius around players has increased possibly, from 144x144 to 272x272 (seems a bit sketchy) so checking area for unlit caves???

3: Spawning is more based on horizontal dimension than vertical so build a large flat spawner that covers many chunks high up over an ocean to decrease amount of area that requires lighting.

4: Drop rates from lava death have decreased so use mavity, works well with point 3.

Any thoughts?

And on a final note if anyone would like to contribute a building to Joachimville I would be very grateful, come have a look via the Purple nether line :D
 
I'm up for helping* Joa. As long as you get some decent plans done.
*Helping may mean standing around in my case

Seriously I clicked this thread just as my boss walked past thinking lets see the update to be greeted by that picture that was up... Luckily my boss didn't see it but I could have been in serious trouble!
