There's a system.cfg and you can create a autoexec.cfg in the main Crysis 2 root folder, where to go from there, google will best show :)

AA options do this for me and 4 other people, turn it off.
 
Steam and bonus activation.

A few have asked about this, Just log into mycrysis .com through the multiplayer or with a browser and You will see a "redeem voucher tab" paste the short code steam gave You to unlock Your free bonus stuff

Obviously You will need to have set up an account through the game or directly first ;)

Hope It helps someone, as it was all clear as mud to Me !
 
I'm pleased I canceled my pre order, but also abit annoyed as I have nothing to play through atm, but with all the problems being listed thats probably a good thing!
 
Is there an OCUK server going?

realy liking the game as others have said yes texture wise its a step down, but i think they have managed to make the processing better.

Also many are annoyed that it isnt as open anymore but i must say i DID not like that aspect in crysis 1. It just throws the pacing out the window when you cant work out how do navigate a cliff :D there were plenty of times that i gave up playing that.

Thats why i much preferd warhead

On further play fo the single player - The story is still lacking. I honestly don't understand why a PMC has full reign to combat an alien invasion. There's no way they could hide what is going on and the US government would be deploying it's own military forces to combat the aleins. i mean on some elvel they will already know about them from Crysis 1. They sunk an aircraft carrier ffs!

Please, is this related to situation when I have "Crysis 2 Limited Edition Game Code" which I suppose should give me rank 5 from the beginning etc. but none of this happens ? I login to mycrisis.com and then don't know what to do... nothing shows up ?!?

Edit. OK now I see - I was searching redeem code on their web page, while now I found it in Crysis 2 game menu. So now the code works. What remains is just to hope the game won't disconnect me as it did before. (connection to your session has been lost)

after playing for a little longer now, and changing some graphics settings, i say that it looks absolutley stunning imo.

As for gameplay, i am loving it so far. there are multiple ways to go through levels. Someone mentioned about enemies knowing where you are too easily. i haven't found this personally. Been able to approach every situation tactically. No problems with story so far, It was never going to be amazing, but it is perfectly functional for me.
MP-wise, i've had some problems with servers going down, but that will prob be fixed soon.


Overall though, i am really enjoying it. MP is going to be my main online game now, i think.
There is an ocuk server that someone posted the other day (noobs in crysis possibly?, can't remember), but no one was on it when i played, so went elsewhere.

Finally, about redeeming codes etc. How can it be so difficult? feels like it's delibrerately confusing!!

Yes. quite a bit. Hope they sort it soon. Don't know what the ocuk servers like though, as there was no one on it.

i downloaded the graphics tweak program, but not sure if it's working, as i changed some settings in the config myself, but it is certainly easy to get it looking better than vanilla, so don't be put off by the supposedly 'poor' graphics.:)

off to work soon, but will try it tomorrow. i hope we get some regular ocuk players on there, as i think the MP has potential. with the Armour and Cloak you can actually defend yourself, so that it isn't a point and click like the cod's have become. if someone starts shooting you, you have a chance to do something about it.

Urm , well without Spoils id say it was entertaining and leaves the door open so to speak. As for the whole game itself, im somewhat dissapointed, specialy compared to the first two, but then again thats what happens when those nasty consoles get involved :p . Havent been able to try MP yet as keeps saying my cd code is currently in use :(
