38% of Americans believe tsunami was sent by God

You know whats even more sick about that video? That she made another one in which she said she was trolling to purposely **** people off. I don't know if she just decided that her personal details being posted across the internet and thousands of death threats was too much, so chose to pretend it was a 'joke', but either way shes a damn *****

I never believed she was trolling. People gave her too much credit by saying that. I imagine she was advised to say she was trolling to get people off her back. As we've proven, there are plenty of Americans who think that way.

I agree, I don't think she was trolling either, because her channel was filled purely with religious babble videos from way back - but the fact she tried to play it off as a joke when she got worried that her personal information/address was revealed is just as twisted tbh.

She was not trolling. Plenty of her earlier videos were bad, just not that bad.

She sickens me.

When it comes to America, nothing surprises me.

They think they're the freest, best nation on Earth. In reality they are anything but.

An acquaintance of mine got arrested for shoplifting in Holland [he opened some water and drank it as he was shopping, they don't allow that and see it as shoplifting there]. As he was being taken away he protested "you can't arrest me, I'm an AMERICAN, a citizen of the free world!"

You were with him, I assume?

The Statistician probably asked 500 people from downtown biblebelt and extrapolated from that. No doubt if he asked the same but of 500 people in Manhattan it would state something entirely different.

yes extrapolating the answers of 1000 people and applying that to over 300 million.

yeah that's going to be reliable.

He wasn't a character from South park called, 'Randy' was he?

Do these americans believe in Nuns, and the 'calling'. I heard a story from a colleague at work who said that someone she knew (with a family, husband, pretty well paid job), got the 'calling' to go and be a nun and gave it all up...

Now, why doesnt god just call to all the G W Bush's and Muammar Ghaddaffis of the world and say, 'just stop what you are doing'. Or to all the muslims and say, 'listen guys you chose the wrong path here, repent, rescind and you can be saved'.

Afterall, what good would calling to be a nun be? How many do they really help? As far as i know they go into a convent, isolate themselves and just pray. SO why would god make people do this and give up their family etc instead of targetting the trouble makers in the world?!

IT MAKES NO SENSE!

and going by all this justification of the yankees, well 9/11 might well have been retribution from god then? and Mt St Helens? well god was pretty upset with america right there.

God must also have been upset in 1935 when he sent the hurricane to the keys...

Or is it just an unforseen natural distaster?!

1008 people actually!

Absolutely not, it's not how God operates, it's not in line with his character.
A tragic result of a broken world, not some act of judgement or vengeance, or even an answer to prayer.

to be fair he did nuke 2 cities and slaughter a bunch of first born's.

Go sounds like a civil engineer, built the broken world then blames the faults on the end user :p

Being a religious person yourself, what do you think of it? Do you not think of it as sent by God?

To quote Batman "I don't have to kill you, but I don't have to save you either."

What if God just watches? What if he doesn't send the tsunami, but doesn't save you from it either? If at this time he's being totally hands-off?
