March in London on the 26th?

Im just sick to death of this carnage in the name of whatever flavour of the month protest happens to be going on, do you think locking these silly ***** up till monday morning then giving them a 100 quid fine for a public order offence is deterring them?

If only we could make them pay back the real cost of the damage and expense they incur :) I think we should. Currently they know they can wreak havoc and someone else will pick up the bill.

It's a farce anyway, local authorities have hundreds of millions of pounds reserve, but don't want to use it. The whole cut backs is simply an excuse to get rid of inefficient dead wood.

What was with that group of like 7-8 people inside a circle of Police officers on BBC just now...

Yeah. The insurers :p

Not that I'm saying such behaviour is acceptable, of course.

And who in the long run do you think picks up the bill for the insurance?

Im telling you public burnings in Trafalgar Square is the way forward here :D

Unlikely - damage caused by Civil Disturbance is generally excluded.

Even more of a reason to crack down on the anarchists.

Identified as committing criminal acts. They'll be removed one by one, filmed head to toe, have all their details taken and be sent on their way.

Then one sunny summers morning the police will arrive at their address and take them away in bracelets :)

I wouldn't have any sympathy if the police start firing tear gas and rubber bullets at those demonstrators causing criminal damage. In fact, they should put snipers on rooftops for that purpose. Any smashes shops and cars or phone boxes gets a rubber bullet, then arrested on the spot.

Not what the very cold looking blonde lady said an hour ago :)

Pretty sure they have just said close to a quarter of a million, which last time I checked was half of that.

The again, given what you're protesting about, figures that you would have trouble with actual numbers and facts.

Please read before replying to my posts in future, thank you.

Yawn. :o
