Microsoft websites/messenger

I have been experiencing problems when trying to load up Hotmail today, it seems like the website takes forever to load up but it does eventually but when I try to login to my account it just times out. I tried accessing other Microsoft sites (eg. msn.com) to see if they had any issues and it seems the same thing is happening with all Microsoft related websites. But I am also having issues with Windows Live Messenger, it won't login and keeps showing the troubleshooter and showing issues with the 'hosts file' and 'key ports'. I have never had any issues with Windows Live Messenger or Hotmail etc. before today, so I'm just wondering whether the problem is with my computer or it's a problem with Microsoft themselves.

Is anybody else having similar problems atm?

Yep, problems with MSN and Xbox Live.

Was just about to post that I haven't been able to log in to MSN at all today and then it suddenly worked.

talking about iffy, my hotmail keeps sending people random links? quite stupid, and its happened to the majority of the lads on my college course :/ change password now but people are saying tis a robot or something.

Mines increasingly slow too, but i dont use hotmail.co.uk, i just use my Windows Live Mail and gmail as my hotmail is for spam websites, facebook and then msn

, all my other emails go to my gmail account which is used for all my work etc etc.
