I'm glad that this was the consensus. I was in the kebab shop an hour ago, and some 'thing' walked in with a handbag and looked ridiculous.
I was worried for a minute that I was in the wrong for thinking he was wrong.
Let us hope that his father has another son who isn't such a disappointment.

I've noticed more and more of them. Disgusting.

Can't say I've seen it often. Or at all come to think of it.

I don't think man bags look as bad as what they used to do mind you, conditioning and acceptance through time perhaps.

No, I don't have one. :p

I don't know about gay but it is completely unacceptable, yes.

Also, I read this thread as 'men with handguns' and didn't know WTF you were talking about in the OP for a second :D

Haha, cheers for the poll.
The handbag in question was a black leather one, and not like a satchel at all. It was slung over one shoulder and was at the side of his chest. Quite large.
I passed comment on him, and suggested that his dad wasn't pleased with him (I was drunk, he was a man with a handbag so I'm allowed to pass judgement upon him in a manner he could hear).
His woman friend was a dog as well, so it's good to see that handbags don't attract the hotties.

Surely he'd have to have a pair on him to parade around Glasgow of all places with a handbag? I mean, you could get away with that no problem in say Brighton, but Glasgow?

Or have you all become soft ****es since I was there last? :p

Meh, it was the city centre. He'll be a West Ender. If he dared venture over to my bit I doubt he'd last very long. And nothing of any value would be lost.

Shifty is right, he did have a ridiculous blonde quiff as well. Sigh.

It's just fashion, i.e. stuff made up for the purpose of making a profit.

Maybe at some point in the future handbags will be seen as being very masculine. Gender is mostly or entirely fictional and frequently changes. For example, pink was definitely masculine and then rapidly changed to being extremely feminine and then back to being a fashionable colour for a man to wear, all in less than 100 years.

I've never seen any man with a handbag :\

Of course I would think its gay. Even if you're gay...why would you use a handbag? There to small. It's stupid that they want to emphasize that they're gay.

All you'd have to do is speak to them and realize.
