Only when watching movies or looking at photos is it noticeable. Can live with it until the craziness dies down and I can walk in to an apple store.

My John Lewis order has been dispatched, choose the free 5 day delivery ordered yesturday afternoon and now out for delivery (very impressed). Only downside is that it's the GF's birthday tomorow and she's said that if it arrives 2moz she's claiming it as her present :S

Just hoping I don't see any of the backlight bleeds that seem to be dogging this product.

Mine's a little better but not by much, however so far it hasn't been an issue while I've been using it.

Well, the York branch of the flying rock made of ice and ammonia store came through for me. Ordered on Friday pm arrived today as promised - but no smart cover. Guess I can live without that for a little while.

You simply cannot say for certain. None of the shops actually know. I would safely bet the Apple stores will get daily deliveries though, or some of them will at least, though it probably wont be many.

Most of the people you'll speak to at the big stores know absolutely nothing about stock and just guess, its bloody annoying and happens all the time.

For example, I rang up Orange yesterday evening for an update on my order, they said all current stock was gone so my order wouldn't be getting shipped, and they wont have any for up to a month. I spoke to a snobbish sounding woman who claimed it wasn't their fault at all and "Apple just release them random amounts of stock every few weeks", which may be true, I dont know.

I selected Wednesday for delivery when I ordered it just gone 5pm on Friday. Then today, out of the blue, I get a DPD tracking number and confirmation its coming tomorrow (hopefully anyway). Disorganisation beyond belief.

Don't know if it's been posted on here or not, but apple have started to allow reserve and collect on the iPad 2. Stock was allocated at 9pm and mainly consisted of 32gb and 64gb iPads to reserve tonight and collect tomorrow.

Same happens every night at 9pm, so keep an eye out tomorrow again

Was trying to order 1 today and credit card page crashed,so phoned up tesco what a surprise no stock.
I asked if you could check instore stock=NO
When will it be instore her reply was it was going to launch at midnight tonight but was put back to tomorrow 5pm,phoned my local store and had the same info.
Was told this is only at tesco extra,let's wait and see????

I emailed them this morning and they sent a generic response saying delivery is 3-5 working days. Really poor customer service, didn't answer what I asked and didn't send me a VAT invoice as requested.

I'm not suprised, DSG are well known for their poor customer service. I think at this stage your best bet for getting one is to check John Lewis and order once the stock comes in.

Got mine today. Uni I work at is a reseller so I had put my name down last week for one. I also suffer from BLB although not as strong as some others have. When demand calms down I'll probably go for a replacement.

I fell really sorry for you, I ordered on Friday and it was delivered to me on Tuesday. The PCW site has been changing quite regularly, on day showing stock and the next day showing no stock, you could always try and phone them up and ask? But as someone else recommend if nothing happens soon consoider the John Lewis site, I also saw a while ago that comet had stock of a few models in but i don't know how it stands now. Hope your iPad arrives soon from wherever you order!!!
