I've noticed there is an offer on these for £75 which caught my eye, thing is, I always presumed they charged off the stand but this doesn't appear to be the case, they just take AAA batteries.

Another thing is they don't seem to include an optical converter for people running on HDMI, how much do they cost?
 
Yep just standard AAA batteries.

Not sure on the cost of the cable. I got one with my original 120Gb elite.

That's a good price for them though!

Could you tell me where they are that price as I'm interested.
 
Can't decide whether these will be worth it. Good discount over the usual £100+ but heard a fair bit of bad feedback on all of the Turtle Beach X range.
 
I've been tempted to buy a pair of these ever since they came out. I'd use them for all consoles on PC as you can just use a normal 3.5mm jack. Only feature missing that would be nice is if you could use the mic on PC.

1 wireless headset for all consoles and PC? Yes plz.
 
Looking for a set of headphones with mic for the ps3, and quite like the look of. The X21s. Any got, or had, them at all?

I've got the official mic, but find it aches my ear after about 20 seconds, so replacing this is the priority, and a decentish set of headphones would be a welcome bonus.

I use the X11's and the only thing I hate is they are wireless.

Other than that for £50 I cannot fault them, and as said above the massive thing against the X41's is the feedback.
