Looks a lovely case, just I can't find any professional reviews which offer cooling power analysis. Id be especially interested to know how this case matches up against the Silverstone FT02 and Lian Li V1020 in terms of cooling, build quality and features.

I am doubtfull about it matching up to the FT02 because of the fact it has 3 180cm fans vs just the one 200cm fan the 650D has.

Mine hasn't come with the fan adapter kit. Am going to put my pc together tomorrow so I shall find out if it buzzes. My case has also come with a scratch in it. This truly has been a dodgy buy.
I can't find anything online stating what the fix actually is either. The corsair website seems to suggest its just an extension to the fan controller cable that fixes it?

Yea i'm waiting until someone like bit-tech do a case review of it before taking the plunge. Also this farce with the fans needs to get sorted as well!
Yeah same here. Bit-Tech do some nice case reviews. Especially good is that they have a standardized cooling test system. Then they log the cooling results for gpu and cpu in a chart with lots of other cases. This makes comparison easier, but naturally not perfect. They test default (as the case comes) cooling, which is a good start point. Id like more test sites to standardize cooling tests. Ideally, case review sites should consider optimal fan set ups, and use premium grade fans too. While time consuming, that would give an improved insight into which case is really best for cooling.

Sorry to hear there's no fan adapter kit and your case is scratched, I hope it's in an inconspicuous place. Corsair are great though, if you contact them they'll sort it but I guess it's down to OC.
I must say this has put me off this case a bit even though I think it's aesthetically superb. I may have to go back to my original choice of a Fractal Design R3
I thought I read somewhere the fix was an inline resistor for the speed controller and 8 rubber grommets for the 200mm fans

Can someone comfirm if this case comes with a case speaker? I have a usb 3 adapter which requires me plugging them into other usb 3 ports which means i have to put the wire through my case, out the back to plug into the ports at the back. Totally pointless.
I have the grommets but no resistor.
It's a shame the case doesn't come with any black screws for the psu. Got to use my old silver ones.

The couple of cases I've seen with front panel USB3 sockets have used this method to connect to the I/O ports on the back, it seems strange they're not putting the 20-1 plugs for the USB3 to motherboard headers yet?
If they've given you the grommets for the fans are you sure the resistor isn't already installed in the cable from the speed controller?

Well my fan controller doesn't buzz much instead literally makes no difference.
I miss the reassuring beep from when my pc turns on haha.
Well having now built my pc all I have to do now is add a few other non essentials in and do some cable management. I might right a full commentary later on the case but here are a few points.
1) The 8pin is a very long stretch to reach so if you have short psu cables I would suspect it won't make the distance.
2) The hard drive system is fantastic.
3) There is a huge amount of space for graphics cards, i'd guestimate that there is another 2.5" of gpu real-estate before my 480gtx would touch the hard drive cage.
4) Unsure if my fan controller actually works properly but it seems to make little difference to the fans and they are quite loud. Though my case is fully open at the moment, the grill at the top would still easily let a lot of sound out. I still think it would be considered quite loud for a "low" setting.
5) While the cable management is excellent they seem to have been a bit stupid in giving you so many front panel connectors etc and not actually giving them a proper hole to all be hidden away under easily. Instead I've had to use a hole which I do not think was intended for that purpose. While it still works all well and good, it does seem like a bit of a silly design error.
6) The front fan feels like it pulls very little air through.

Ok then further playing around I have concluded my fan controller does have the buzzing problem. It's just not what it is hyped up to be. You have to be quite close to the case to be able to hear it. I may contact ocuk later in the week to get the fix just because there isn't a reason not to fix it. But it is not as audible as is made out to be. Am more concerned about the fact that low to high makes almost zero difference.

This is not to say that other people might not get a worse buzzing sound. There may be different degrees of buzzing, this is the only case I have tested.

I cannot really comment on the air cooling because I have the 480GTX Gigabyte SE and a thermaltake frio cooler. Thus even if the case was a poor cooler my components would be reasonably cool.
Many people criticised the latches on the sides for making the case look less sleak but I assure you they are needed. There isn't a huge amount of room behind the motherboard tray but because of the way the doors close it doesn't really matter and they have made building a lot easier as a result.
There is a hole in to the back top right of the case which allows the USB3 cables to be threaded all through the case with relative ease and plugged into the back ub3 ports so it is not such a problem, however it does still mean you have extra cables in the back than you might want. So that is your choice, but it is possible.
The case is well put together, 100% sturdy and feels top class like my previous lian-li case did. You would expect it to be heavy as a result but given it's size it is quite light. It is however a dust magnet, particularly the window, so be careful to keep it clean. Though this is my first windowed case so that might just be normal.
The huge grate in the top would look great with a lighter back light under it. My motherboard has some blue lights on it for some reason (no idea why) and it is just lightly accenting the top fan and it looks quite good.
Let me know if you have any further comments.

Appears that not only did you not ship the cases with the fixes but your own staff do not even know they were meant as I was just asked in reply to my webnote to point them to where you said you would be shipping the fixes with the cases.
Seriously guys, sort this out. It's really not encouraging me to want to shop with ocuk again when clearly the staff and their employer's are not on the same page.

Corsair promised that these would have the fixed controllers. Yet this seems not the case. I'm calling Corsair now!
Just about sums me and my thoughts on this case, I really like it and it looks great compared to some of the other boxy looking cases out there...HAF etc..
Could you keep us informed please but I can't get hold of corsair and they aren't replyin 2 my messages!!

Hey guys. Just to clear this up, I have spoken to Corsair, they apologise as they have advised OcUK the wrong info on the stock we ordered.
Anyway, Corsair are going to ship out the replacement parts this week. I have provided Corsair with a full list of all customers who have bought a 650D from us.
