Update Intel Raid Option ROM
Yes I am mad ... £119 each and ordered two ... but my current ram modules are bright silver and look naff on this mobo with a black Antec H2O cooler.
I know
I only needed one and can sell my current ram for £90-120 (£30-40 per 4 Gb of 2133 Mhz elipdas should be easy). Ordering two of them was the mad thing.
If I can get one set working at 2000 Mhz but not both, then I sell one of them.
Erm no, I had 12 Gbs of Elipdas
They were dual channel kits, hence 6 modules not 3.
Like I said I'm gonna test them and likely sell one of them. Going from 6x2 Gb modules to 3x4 Gb should be a lot better for overclocking, and reviews on this Vengeance ram showed that it can do 2000 Mhz @ 9-10-9 timings.
Ah right ok. I can see how 3x4 would work better than your current 6x2. Why didn't you just buy the one kit though? Still sounds to me that the only reason you really purchased them was because you didn't like the look of the old ones lol.
