Still wary of city in the second half, but sweet jesus.
Anyone else think Carroll's second goal was an own goal of the back of Korolov's head? (Just worried incase he scores another and isn't awarded the hat trick).

Amazing first half from us, Flanagan has done very well for his debut, Carroll well a brace speaks for itself but him and Suarez linking up well.
Spearing/Lucas doing a good job in middle of the park too. Roll on more goals in the 2nd half please (for us of course!)

Hehehe suarez + Carroll for torres is looking increasingly like a brilliant bit of business, especially in the goals dept
Indeed.
Don't know if I would've paid £35m for Carroll but if he starts scoring consistently it's a good bit of business, certainly beats having a £50m paper weight.

Agreed, Flanagan deserves praise, not an easy debut to make and looks to be relishing the challenge, skinning Balotelli and dealing with everything coming at him, and played a sexual volley cross field pass. Him+Kelly coming through the academy and a few more by the looks of things looks good.
Hopefully we can play with this sort of tempo most games, the battering ram for the second goal was out in full force.
