Pokemon White/Black

You can download the wondercard and then get victini at another point in time. Its about the 4th city in the big city in weird 3d view. The recommended nature is Timid for a special attacker or jolly for a physical one.

Bred a modest Deino last night with dark pulse. Stats 30/7/27/31/31/31 so perfect speciao. Attack plus special defense and speed.

Btw this weedy looking poke evolves into the fearsome dragon, Hydreigon:

Before I begin, how far do I need to get in order to get Victini? Wifi at my home is not DS Lite compatible and I'm unable to change it to WEP so I'm going to a coffee shop for the actual download.:p

Why not just disable the wireless encryption for 5 minutes?

Finally beat the elite four, they were a royal pain, But for some reason I breezed through the last bit.

Now Route 11! Some nice Pokemons! already got myself a Golduck

Excellent!

If anyone wants a lvl 40~ Deino Timid Nature, IV's: 31/12/30/31/30/31... this evolves into the pseudo legendary Hydregon!! (Dark/Dragon type)

let me know, i caught this last night after hours and hours of trying...Ideal for a special sweeper setup with Fire Blast, Surf, Dragon Pulse and Taunt/Uturn...

Hey definitely would like to take that up!

Let me know if still available :)

Hi Alex, i now have improved nature, Modest Deino with the egg move Dark pulse @ lvl 20. i can trade you one of these, i found out that in standard play, the nature Timid doesnt offer that many advantages, but Modest makes the most out of its special moveset and really beats down on the opponents!!

Let me know which one you want and i can trade today:) the Timid Deino might be a few levels higher now as its been breeding heavily which is how i managed to get the modest one:0

Ah brilliant. Squad needs a special sweeper! Also didn't realise until I checked serebii that it doesn't learn Dark Pulse by level so that'd be perfect! Is there any pokes you may want (I have White if needing any version specifics)?

EDIT:

Anyone got a Sand Rush Drillbur/Excadrill?

My planned team is:

Sweepers:

Hydreigon (hopefully from the Deino from Running Man^^)
Excadrill (with Sand Rush ability and Swords Dance)

Tanks/Stallers:

Ferrothorn (Spikes, Leech Seed and Gyro Ball)

Other:

Chandelure (Trick Room + Special Sweep)

Leaves two slots of which I'm considering any of the following:
Vanilluxe
Arcehops (already trained but need a poke with simple beam...)
Eelektross
Escavalier (as a team mate when Trick Room in play)
Cofagrigus

Suggestions?

Alextrickle I'm looking for a munna or similar poke with the ability synchronize and nature mild would be nice if you had one somewhere if not.

For your free slot maybe get a mix of some geniv pokes like metagross I've had great success with him. My team is a heavy mix of last Gen pokes so I can't give you many hints there

Just caught a level 66 Milotic just gonna check its IVs and nature now...

0 IV for defense... :/ :/ and highest of 21 (sp.Atk) and Hardy nature so pretty rubbish... time to do more fishing!

I have a couple of munna's and will check their IVs and natures. I can't guarantee an amazing set of IVs but will get you that ability and naturel

Regarding Metagross he is awesome but used him in a previous run and just personal thing but each run I like a completely new setup but a Mirror Coat Milotic is what I'm considering atm as I've never had one before due to their pesky beauty evolution method!

It's not my wireless to touch.

We do also have ethernet so I'm sharing the connection from my laptop out as a ad-hoc access point. Works fine.

How have you managed to get that working? Everytime ive tried that it just says its not a valid access point or something along those lines.

It was a bit of a faff to be honest. iPod touch had no problems connecting but the DS was getting nothing from the Mac's DHCP so I had to manually enter in the info.

Finally got round to starting, just beat N and now have a Lv.8 Oshawott. He's already a bro.:D

Just beaten the Elite 4 and completed the game. Caught an Awesome Zekrom:

Lvl 50 Adamant - 31/31/31/30/30/31 HP Ground 70

i am happy to clone it for anyone who wants one and can send me Reshiram that is Timid, or Modest in nature with decent supporting IVs....If you have one but cant clone, i can clone your reshiram and send it back to you too..

Can anyone done me a favour and grab an Aianto and send me an egg?

I wanted to start the game as early as possible with one. :)

Male preferred.

I'll breed mine now I've located Ditto in the game.

Although I gotta ask why Durant?!

He's nothing special and fire (of which most moves are special and one of the most common types) will pretty much OHKO it every time with that god awful Sp.Def.

He has appeal as a physical sweeper with 109 speed and attack but one thing B/W is not short of is physical beasts/sweepers and many are better than Durant (e.g. Archeops or Excadrill).

Not to mention his movepool is severly limited - steel physical attacks have very few applications whilst the strongest bug attack he can learn is X-Scissor. He has no 'sweeper stat build' moves like Swords Dance which say Excadrill gets.

If you want that typing which is very nice Bug/Steel then I'd recommend Escavalier over Durant. Base attack 135 and both his defenses are 105 (with 70 HP) making his far more powerful and "durable" haha bad pun... Granted his MAJOR weakness is his 20 speed but this makes him an incredible Trick Room pokemon. Finally to seal the deal he has a much better movepool (including the most powerful Mergahorn of the game) with the likes of Swords Dance, Toxic, Quick Guard etc.

go for excodrill
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/530.shtml

The biggest thing to choose for excadrill is his ability:
Sand rush makes him the fastest pokemon in the game in a sandstorm, 600+ speed is easy to reach in this situation, he even out speeds most pokemon with a choice scarf, and is faster than deoxeys S :O This just allows him to sweep silly
Sand force gives his STAB moves another 33%, more or less doubling the power of stab moves, taking full advantage of the fact that he has the highest attack out of any steel pokemon
Set up sandstorm, swap in this guy. Win.

Won about 6 online random battles last night with my 3 poke team:

Porygon2 lead with tri attack and discharge
Starmie or belly drum charizard second
Volcarona to sweep

Only one I lost we both had 1 poke left I was sure to ohko him with my quiver danced volcarona but he survived with a focus sash and stone edged me ohko Inc me for the lose.

One Guy was taking the Mick with some blissey or something kept toxic poison me then moonlighting and raising special def so I brought in charizard got a belly drum in and swept him bad - that's the first time I ever pulled off belly-zard successfully.

Still got all the pokes ready to trade - looking for synchronizers - munna fine for like Mild, Adamant etc.

Running Man I'll get the munna for you today at some point - was going to do it the other day but DS died and realised I forgot my DS charger at uni and only got a new one yesterday.

Whats the trick to getting good IV pokes?

Decided I wanted a Simple Beam, Trick Room Beheeyem and so caught a female Elgyem with both the nature (Modest) and ability (Telepathy) that I wanted but its IVs are a bit pants (all between 11 and 18) and would like one with competition level IVs without having to spend hours catching hundreds of them!

There is a trick, its called RNG'ing a pokemon. Basically i learnt this over the last few days from smogon website, it involves writing down the start time of when you launch the game, using a tool on your PC to get the 'frame' by inputting IV from a pokemon you just caught, then you can work out how to find a good spread of IVs through this programme, set the time/date on DS to what the app tells you time it (to literally the second) to launch the game, use a synchroniser to get the right nature and voila. It can take a couple of hours tops to get familiar with it, then just a bit of trial and error with the timings etc.

But the pokemon are all caught legitimately in game exactly as normal, you are just influencing the outcome by knowing how the Pseudo random algorithym distributes IV spreads. Thats why now like all the pokemon im catching are almost flawless, or they are at least in the IV i need for my chosen moveset. SO basically i now have genuinely 'competative' pokemon where before my breeding projects took days/weeks/months i can just catch them fresh from the wild and guaantee great IVs.

For example, i caught a Volcarona yesterday: 31/14/30/31/31/31 HP ICE 70.

But once you start doing this it gives you leverage to trade with other people who are doing similar things. My Porygon2 is Timid SHINY 31/31/31/31/31/31 i got it for my Modest Deino, but dont worry i cloned the beast so i have one to give away here too.
