Gave them $5 and I already own Trine and both Shadowgrounds games. Splot looks pretty good. Not quite as strong a lineup as what's gone before (not to say Trine and Shadowgrounds aren't fantastic games).

Got it, interested in Splot and the other two.

I was also really interested in the source code.

Also, 1p? May as well not have paid anything at all to be honest.

You realise it's a charity push, yeah? You're within your rights to only pay 1p, but really?

CHARITY. I took the average, converted it into £s and then added £1, splitting it evenly between the dev and the charities.

It's a pity that people aren't willing to part with just a few quid - with the option of it ALL going to charity - just because they can get it cheaper. That would sit on my conscious.

ahaha always the same you get the moral high grounds in here. If they didnt want 1p they should have made it a minimum price.

Why pirate it when I get the steam code for a penny :D

Nothing to do with moral high ground, and everything to do with you just being a ****

So then where do we draw the minimum that makes you "not a ****"?

1p's too low. Is 50p okay, then? I mean, that's 50 times better, isn't it?

But wait, that's still a pittance.

It's been offered at what people are willing to pay. No more and no less, and that doesn't give anyone the right to belittle others because they didn't pay as much.

You think whoever paid over £1k towards it is sitting there calling everyone else a **** because they only paid $5? Before you all start giving off about someone else, think about what your paltry input is in the face of over a grand. It's all relative.

For the record, I also paid $5 split each way because I'm tight for money. I still don't feel it's enough, but if they've let it open for people to pay what they wish then I'm not going to judge anyone just because they felt the need to grab a few cheap games rather than pirate them. C'est la vie.

It's not about belittling someone because they couldn't afford to pay a certain amount. All those developers are going out of their way to do something for charity, and he's just taking the mick, giving them the finger and laughing at them. I stand by calling him a ****. That can stand for any number of unpleasant four letter words, and they're all pretty apt.

I'd say whatever the amount where a transaction no longer actually costs them to pay the fees from payment transfers. Your right though, as long as the give the option to pay a penny, people will. Obviously the bigger donations will cancel that out massively, but they'd be raising more money if those people hadn't donated at all.

In my opinion, it's pretty sad that when given the opportunity to give to charity people can only see as far as the free games. Calling people whatever a **** is goes a bit far though.

Yeah, I'm probably frothing a bit, admittedly, I'll stop now.

Where kids charities are concerned though, I just can't comprehend that level of selfishness.

Not really, people who come on an enthusiasts forum and buy £200+ graphics cards can't afford £1 for 5 games? Bit pathetic, paying under £1 as it costs them money. It's sad how selfish some people can be.

I paid what I had in my Paypal, only a couple of quid but I wouldnt buy those games if they werent in the offer so at least this way they get something, I probably won't even play them

I bought it twice for 30p. Why because that's all I have spare to my name at the moment until payday. I'm having to borrow money daily at the moment. I'd happily part with more once I've been paid.
