Where did this convention of clearing your own table come from?
Mcdonalds don't actually ask you to clear your tables down afterwards, the bins being out there mean jack.
I'm not expected to clear my table at any other restaurant, so why should i at McDonalds?
oh, and when people say its common courtesy etc, same applies with "proper" restaurants.

because normally when you're finished in a so called proper restaurant a decent waiter/ waitress will clean up right after and you dont have that in the fast food places
edit: so i'm not saying you have to clean it up but i have been brought up like this. also it kinda is normal on the continent so i guess english people are just messy![]()

so what? Nandos, you pay at the till. then just walk out once you are finished. You dont have to wait for a waitress to pick your plates up

You have to eat everything.
Including the burger box, the chip packet and even the tray that your food came on!
