As assault, the XM8 is the best gun by far. Don't bother with accuracy either - it's overrated.

Any thoughts on the AN-94? It was deadly before the nerf, but still see a lot of people having success with it

Quite liked the AN-94, even after it got nerfed. My favourite assault rifle is the M416, only weapon ive platinum'd, now working on the steyr aug.

It's okay but nowhere near as good as it was. XM8 is where it's at now

Sometimes my favourite loadout is:-

Knife.

Almost a shame sometimes to use a girly gay gun weapon, unless it's:-

A semi auto shottie with magnum ammo, m9 and c4. Boom.

Working on getting on Evilsod's Christmas card list with this combo

At least it's ok on tight sqdm maps. For other modes I will pick whatever gun I'm working towards plat with and whatever the team needs. Magnum ammo a constant though.

This is going to depend on what level you are and specialisations are unlocked.

For Assault I particularly like:

M416
40mm Shotgun or GL
Mgnm Ammo
Lightweight kit
M9 sidearm.

Steve70 is absolutely nuts with the XM8-P though and many on here rate it as a good weapon. Not in my hands though

For Engineer I like loads of loadouts but my favourite:

UMP-45
M1911 sidearm
Carl Gustav
Mgnm ammo
Lightweight kit

another option that works for me very well indeed:

9a-91 Avtomat
M443 Grach sidearm
RPG-7
Mgnm Ammo
Lightweight kit

the avtomat is very very accurate and with Mgnm ammo packs a real punch.

Recon:

Can't beat this for SQDM

Saiga autoshotty
M9 sidearm
C4
Lightweight kit
Mgnm ammo
