Sounds legit?

Early engineering samples are generally clocked a lot slower than the finished product so it could be true.

But considering these processors don't launch until Q4 2011 I don't know why you'd buy such an early version.

"This will get sold quick so hurry....."......yes as if there's herds of people all craving to spend £1100 on a CPU without a warranty, an early revision, clocked at only 1.6GHz, with no boards to buy publicly let alone coolers.

It's not even legal to sell ES versions. Some soul out there is risking his factory job. I'm sure Intel has cameras everywhere and knows who the suspects are but the cost of chasing them down continuously would likely cost more than the money it cost to produce those CPU's (aka $25 a pop).

Makes you wonder why Intel ever bothered introducing QPI if it's sticking to DMI now for its budget to premium CPU lines.
