Couldn't get into Fallout Vegas at release, maybe too soon after Fallout 3. Recently was thinking about reinstalling Oblivion plus mods or Fallout New Vegas plus mods and chose New Vegas, it's about all I've played for the past couple of weeks, really enjoying it.

Doesn't really make much sense to call Fallout 3 much better, they are basically the same game.
 
Your meant to play as Romans in the SPQR mod i have but love Royal Pikemen from Macedonia, love the cheap bridge battles where you can have two units at one end and lose 300 men and kill 3000 every time, but lags like hell with all the units cramed into one part of the map.

Do you still have wonders? they have saved my campaign with the perks.

Yeah I've got a couple on the Greece area at the moment, I think the biggest problems I'm having is with the 2 cities at the bottom of Italy which are stacked full of peasants and lowest tax rate and are still only in the yellow. Did a bit of looking around and found a newer version of the map I'm using which has a few more changes which I think I'll give a shot:

The other thing that makes me chuckle is that there is a rebel army with 3 rows of units trapped on the small island east of Greece from where I destroyed a faction, bit of a stand off between it and the city there. The best bit is that the rebel army is simple called "lesbians" :D I think I have downloaded SPQR at some point I just have a really bad graphics card so it struggles with the larger battles.
 
none really, metro stopped working for me about 3/4 the way through.

Have mafia 2 but just not really in the mood lol.

so much for my £1500 pc :p

Amazed how addictive it still is after 18 years. Playing it via a DOS emulator, so can practice all the old DOS commands as well. :)

I wanted to get Full Sync but some missions on it are ridiculous, the one with the tank where you cant get hit is nearly impossible. Ive been so close but cant be bothered with it.
Once got annoying with PES so much and its my favourite game trying to get 100% for months.

I like getting 100% but if it makes me not enjoy the game anymore i leave it.

The SPQR mod makes the battles last really long, but it removes units like Peasants, war dogs, flaming pigs...
Another major change is the reduction of Spartan hoplites from 240 men to 150 so you cant really be Greece and spam them out.
Should try SPQR mod again its excellent.
