I collected my new car yesterday.
A few shameless pictures, not the greatest I know:

So it's an Octy vRS Petrol Hatchback (2.0 T), manual
Anthracite Grey
Full Leather Interior
Heated Seats
Xenons
Rear Parking Sensors
Auto Dimming Mirror/Auto Lights
Columbus Sat-Nav
Maxi-Dot Trip Computer

It's an upgrade from my 56 plate Octy vRS.
So far I'm loving it to death, so nice to drive and plenty of power when needed.
It really is a nice car, no complaints about it at all.
Oh and before anyone says anything - if I'd wanted an Audi or a VW I would have bought an Audi or a VW :)

Very nice!

I was toying with the idea of ditching my mk1 vRS for a 1.6 Focus :o but instead have decided to keep hold of it for a bit and try to save up for a mk 2 vRS instead :D

Got to say that the Mk2.5 never looks that great in photos but I have really taken a shine to them in the flesh. Haven't seen one in that colour, most seem to be race blue or white!

I like the look of the new Octy VRS. Nice purchase. I see them in the blue and white also, look cracking in blue.

I kinda assumed it was the 2.0 TFSI, just wondered if Skoda had stuffed more ponies into it above the mk5 GTi :)

Aye the Blue and White seem to be the favourite colours at the moment.
A guy down the road has a white one - so there was just no way I could get the same colour as him :)

Looks nice. I like the colour - I had a 57 plate race blue vRS and it seemed to attract the wrong sort of attention at times.

I didn't find the seats very comfortable in mine - are the facelift seats any different? I also got complaints about the rear seats being rock hard. I notice you've gone for the full leather - is it just the covers that change or are the seats themselves any different?

I've heard some comments the newer engine doesn't go as well as the previous 2.0T, but is a bit more economical. I'd be interested to see what you think on that score.

Yay! I test drove a MkII vRS the other day - like lordrobs here I'm also looking to move from MkI for MkII. Feels so much more confidence inspiring than my MkI.

I like the white colour but I have to remind myself how it's only slightly better than a black car for looking awful after 5mins. Think I'll end up with blue though, only MkII grey ones I've seen have been diesels.

As an aside that special edition diesel MkII looks like a great interior but those alloys, erk!
